中国决定暂停对美国原产汽车加征关税

BMW announced last Saturday it is cutting the prices of its US-made X5, X6, X5M and X6M following China's decision to suspend additional tariffs on US-made cars and auto parts.

在我国决定对原产于美国的汽车及零部件暂停加征关税后，宝马公司上周六宣布，下调美国产X5、X6、X5M和X6M车型的售价。

The price of its new BMW X5, which was just launched in early December, is slashed to 779,900 yuan, a decrease of 30,000 yuan.

12月初刚刚上市的全新BMW X5的售价降至77.99万元，较之前售价低了3万元。

It is the second automaker to do so in response to the tariff drop.

Last Friday, Tesla cut the prices of its Model S and Model X vehicles in China.

According to the electric carmaker's Chinese website, the price of certain Model S cars was cut by up to 105,000 yuan, and Model Xs by up to 65,000 yuan.

特斯拉中国官网显示，部分Model S车型降幅达10.5万元，Model X车型降幅达6.5万元。

China's finance ministry said it would suspend additional tariffs on US-made vehicles and auto parts for three months starting on Jan 1, 2019.

我国财政部日前表示，将从2019年1月1日起，对原产于美国的汽车及零部件暂停加征关税3个月。

That means the 40% tariffs on US cars will be cut back to 15% during the three months.

这意味着，在这三个月内，我国对美进口车关税将由目前的40%暂时降至15%。
