1. The United States flew two supersonic bombers over the Korean Peninsula on Sunday. The move was a show of force against North Korea following the country’s latest intercontinental ballistic missile test.

2. A group of anti-government protesters clashed with Venezuelan security forces in Caracas. The clash has erupted as opposition members gathered to protest against Sunday’s vote for a constitutional assembly.

3. Vice President Mike Pence arrived in Estonia for meetings with the presidents of Northern Europe’s three Baltic nations. Pence reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to NATO’s mutual defense, an important issue for the former Soviet Republics that border Russia.

4. More than 10,000 people gathered in southern Bosnia to watch men jump from the historical old bridge as part of the country’s annual diving competition. The competitors leaped into a cold, fast-flowing river to the excited cheers the spectators.
