1. President Donald Trump on Sunday implored Saudi Arabia and other Middle East countries to extinguish "Islamic Extremism" from the region. Trump all but promised he will not publicly admonish Middle East rulers for human rights violation and oppressive reigns. Saudi Arabia's foreign minister praised the summit where Trump gave the address as "historic".

2. Dozens of graduates and family members silently stood and walked outside Sunday as Vice president Mike Pence began his address at Notre Dame's commencement ceremony. The former governor of Indiana was invited to speak after students and faculty protested the prospect that president Donald Trump being invited.

3. The U.S ambassador to the U.N has began a two-day tour of Jordan, focused on aid to Syrian refugees.  Nikki Haley said Trump administration's intent to slash the humanitarian aid worldwide will not affect U.S support for Jordan, nor the Syria crisis.  

4. The national weather service says storm moving across Indiana caused at least three small tornadoes over the weekend. No serious injuries were reported in the area.
